In 2013, Visceral Games released Dead Space 3, the final chapter of the legendary horror trilogy. The game introduced a fresh take on the series, adding cooperative gameplay, an expanded crafting system, and more open environments. However, it still retained its signature atmosphere of terror, offering players a journey into the depths of nightmare. The story picks up after the events of Dead Space 2. Isaac Clarke, trying to leave his past behind, is once again pulled into the fight against the Necromorphs. He travels to the frozen planet Tau Volantis, where rumors suggest a way to stop the outbreak once and for all. Alongside Sergeant John Carver, Isaac faces not only monstrous creatures but also Unitologist fanatics determined to spread the Markers' influence.
