The story of Dishonored is set in the city of Dunwall, a corrupt, plague-ridden metropolis inspired by 17th and 18th century England. You play as Corvo Attano, the royal bodyguard to Empress Jessamine Kaldwin. At the start of the game, the Empress is assassinated, and Corvo is framed for the murder. Now an outcast, Corvo must fight to clear his name and uncover the conspiracy behind the assassination of the Empress.
