Disco Elysium is a role-playing game that fundamentally differs from anything you might expect in the genre. It’s not your typical quest with combat scenes and item hunting. In this game, the main focus is on dialogue, inner monologue, and, of course, the moral dilemmas you will face. The game takes place in the fictional city of Revachol, where you play as a detective suffering from amnesia. The protagonist wakes up after a wild night, unable to remember who they are, what happened, or what they are supposed to do. However, they soon find themselves tasked with investigating a murder, which turns out to be just the tip of the iceberg in a city full of deeper issues.
