This tour takes you on a charming journey through Cornwall, a county in the southwest of England famous for its picturesque cliffs, sandy beaches, bucolic villages, ancient legends and delicious local cuisine. You will visit coastal towns, see historical sites, stroll through gardens, get acquainted with Cornish culture and soak up the atmosphere of this amazing region. Day 1: Arrive in Newquay - the heart of Cornwall Arrive at Newquay Airport (NQY) (or transfer from another airport/city). Transfer to your hotel in Newquay or a nearby coastal town. Accommodation and rest after the flight. After lunch - a walk along Newquay, famous for its surfing beaches. Visit Fistral Beach, watch the surfers. In the evening - dinner in a restaurant with seafood dishes. Day 2: Newquay – Eden Project and Fowey Village Visit the Eden Project, a unique botanical garden set in a former kaolin quarry. Explore biomes featuring plants from around the world. After lunch, drive to Fowey, a picturesque village at the mouth of the River Fowey. Stroll through the village, see St Finbarr’s Church and other attractions. Return to the hotel in the evening. Day 3: St Ives – Art City and Beaches Visit St Ives, a charming coastal town known for its art galleries and beaches. Visit the Tate St Ives gallery, which showcases contemporary art. Walk through the town, explore the harbour and Porthmeor Beach and Porthminster Beach. In the evening, dine at a restaurant overlooking the sea. Day 4: Land’s End and Minack Theatre Travel to Land’s End, the most westerly point in England, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After lunch, visit the Minack Theatre, a unique open-air theatre carved into the rock. (Performance is optional, book in advance!). Return to the hotel in the evening. Day 5: Lizard Point Lighthouse and Tintagel Castle Travel to Lizard Point Lighthouse, located at the most southerly point of Great Britain. Explore the lighthouse and its surroundings. After lunch, visit Tintagel Castle, associated with the legends of King Arthur. Walk to the castle, explore the ruins and enjoy the views of the coast. Day 6: Heligan Gardens and Lostwithiel Visit The Lost Gardens of Heligan, restored after decades of neglect. Walk through the gardens, explore the various themed areas. After lunch - visit the town of Lostwithiel, the historical capital of Cornwall. Walk around the town, visit the old town hall and St. Bartholomew's Church. In the evening - farewell dinner in a restaurant with Cornish cuisine. Day 7: Departure from Newquay Transfer to Newquay Airport (NQY) (or transfer to another airport / city) for your flight home, full of unforgettable impressions from a trip to Cornwall.
